Sun N' Sand Motel

I’ve been staying at this motel since before I was born! It is the cleanest place you’ll ever stay. The family is amazing and very accommodating. Updates have been made accordingly over the years. Short walk to a quiet beach or a short drive to Old Orchard. I will always recommend this place to everyone!

Mold Filthy NOT Family child safe. Basically local "Rooming" house for criminal element paroled & psychiatric seedy with "deals" in parking lot. Mold spores and trash in front. Bang on door & the 15 Minute "date" party music blasting. Owner "off site dizzy liquored up" most time. owner put wet linen sheets on bed WHY? she said No Dryer so she dry on her patio table! Bizarro drama. most days "Escape" Touring Wonderful Old Orchard Beach Pier! Absolutely stay safe @ Clean Respectable Area Hotels i.e. Grandview Inn ps the "good reviews" written by owner's family. Ugh! See Attached Photographs the so-called local police. NOT a Fun Summer Holiday.

Really great place, not large, not fancy, but absolutely spotless. And located in a spot that is simply not duplicated. Walk to the inlet and a really cool place that serves the freshest seafood you'll find. Our impression was that there was no way the authorities would let them build this place here today, its is otherwise a completely residential neighborhood. So, if you're a fussy, hotel snob, go down a few miles to Old Orchard Beach and hang with all the crazies and pay $300+/night, or, if you want to walk to eat fresh Maine seafood and to the beach and share the silence and salt air with only 5 other guests at a great rate (that's right, there are only 6 rooms!), then book this place and enjoy. No credit cards, so bring some "paper" with you! Only open mid-June - Labor day. Closi

I actually didn't stay at this motel will give it five stars anyway, because I went to visit my friend that is currently residing there and her apartment set up was cute and well furnished . It was in walking distance to pine point beach and I enjoyed the walk and the peacefulness of the ocean .I would choose this place if I was looking for a motel in this area. My visit was in April .

We just stayed on night, but I would definitely stay again. It's tiny but close to the beach and could be a great landing spot for a weekend at the shore.
