Summerville Lakes RV Park and Campground

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic experience staying at Summerville Lakes RV Park & Campground for about six weeks this summer (2025). This park is truly a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, the attendant was incredibly nice and responsive — any question or request we had was handled quickly and with a smile. The sites were clean, level, and very easy to pull into, making our long-stay set-up smooth and stress-free. The whole park has a peaceful, well-maintained feel. And while we were there our dog loved the space and the surroundings without us ever feeling concerned — even though the pond had some alligator “friends,” they were completely non-invasive and added a bit of charm rather than worry. All is all this was a cool spot to stay. We stayed about 5 months on a project around Charleston. The fishing was GREAT as you can see in the pics. HUGE Bass and an abundant amount of LARGE Crappie. I would have given it a five star review but the spot was very primitive. Power and water was constantly out of service and at the time we stayed there were no shower/bathroom houses. The owner did say that those were in the works though. That being said the owner did allow me to keep a large job trailer onsite (included in the rent total) during a delay in my project.

We enjoyed our 2 month stay at SVLCG. Fun fishing and relaxing. The host and all our neighbors were great. We would stay here again. Our lot was 4-1. Despite the road noise this is one of the best spots in the campground.

Summerville Lakes is an OK place to stay. The lake is over run with seaweed and growth. Its hard to fish some areas due to vegetation overgrowth. There is lots of fish in the lake. But many fish have spots from the sewage that can leak into the lake due to sewer backups or excessive rain that can make sewage seep into the lake. Some of the residents are friendly. I made a couple friends here. Then there is some residents who believe they run the place. I had one neighbor who complained about where I parked my vehicles on my lot. She did not like that I had to park to close to her trailer. We All know campgrounds are close quarters and we need to tolerate each other. Another neighbor had a leaky water pipe that flooded the parking lot/road. Park manager informed that person to f

This place is perfect if you are not looking for amenities. The park is quiet sites are private. You must be self contained, they have water, sewer, electric, but no facilities. Large lake that you can fish from. For the price I would recommend. Second time here
