I have been here over ten times in ten years. There are many, many positives and very few negatives and I have stayed at 15 other hotels and condos as well, for comparison. Each type of room and the location of your room will be important for your pleasure, and they vary quite a bit. Been staying here for 19 years. Bill the general manager, Kayla (who works the front desk) and Chrissy the head of house keeping are the nicest people you will meet. They make you feel like family or an old friend you haven’t seen in a while. The rooms are amazing with 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, living room and dining room. Also it is directly across from the beach. It literally doesn’t get better!! Highly recommend

I recently spent over $5000 for two rooms at this hotel, expecting a premium experience. Unfortunately, what I got was far from it. The fire alarm went off at 230 am Friday Morning and then again at 930 pm Monday night completely disrupting our rest and plans. While safety is important the second time the alarm went off everyone knew there was not a fire after 15 minutes I called the front desk and was told she had a lobby full of guests and couldn't talk then simply ended the call (4 Times) That level of disregard is unacceptable in any setting, let alone from a hotel that charges this much. Over the years we have stayed in so many places in Cape May...The Summer Station is by far one of the best. The location is perfect - close to everything and just far enough to be quiet and absolutely relaxing! The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable with everything you could need. The staff is lovely and very helpful. The pool is pure bliss! I'm already looking forward to next years stay there!
