Sugar House

Nice upper lodge at Okemo Mountain Resort. Speciality food > noodle bowls. Lodge has all the expected amenities and it is high enough on the slope to reach the main lift after a stop or meal. Definitely needs a biergarten on the deck with a BBQ going.

Know that this is a typical ski lodge with crowded seating, expensive and limited food options and long lines. The service is friendly. There is additional seating upstairs and the bathrooms are downstairs. Other lodges on the mountain offer more seating and quicker lines, but it's hard to beat the convenience of the Sugar House.

Crowded during lunch on a weekend. Selection includes typical fried foods like chicken tenders, burgers and fries but they also have daily special sandwiches, Mac and cheese and chilli. The ramen station is close to the cashier's which I didn't see till later. Difficult to find seats during peak lunch hour.

You can never really expect grade A good at a mountain lodge but this was awful. I asked for a straw and she pointed me to this germ infested cup that someone was manhandling as I walked up to it. The other person touched all the straws and when I asked for a clean or sealed straw she looked at me and said that’s all they offer. The condiments look like they get cleaned and changed once a year, find a different pace to eat while on Okemo.

Food was good. View is amazing. They closed up shop early so they missed out on sales that way. My husband finished riding and wanted a drink and they were closed already 1/2 hour early.
