Main + Mountain Motel

We loved this little lodge! Our teen boys fit perfectly on the bunk beds and we liked having the breakfast nook too. Shower was clean and hot and linens were nice. Super easy to catch the MOOVR to the mountain to snowboard. Loved the location in town for easy walkability to dinner. It was fun to sit by the fire pits in front of the lodge in the evenings too!

ATTENTION!!! Be careful with the credit card charge. We were charged for three rooms on our credit card instead of two. We have already tried several times to contact the motel operator by email and asked them to refund the difference to our credit card. Unfortunately, there has been no response and no refund. Too bad — otherwise, the property would have been quite all right. But unfortunately, this was the first time we’ve had a bad experience with a payment. UPDATE: After I posted the negative review on Google, the host reached out and apologized. He assured me that it was not intentional and that he would immediately arrange the refund. The place was clean and newly remodeled. Bed was comfortable. Not impressed with it overall, however, and we didn't feel comfortable. The biggest problem was self checkin. Lacking a feel of hospitality. It was rather sad. Drab colors inside and out. A bit more color and flair needed. Need to add some appealing artwork to the walls. The one piece there didn't enhance the room. TV channels impossible to access. The common room was a little far away, upstairs and down the hall and more....but we did use the microwave to cook the food we brought. It just felt inadequate overall, but we wish the proprietors well.

Stayed here for a gravel triathlon and everything was perfect! Super simple check-in Great and clear communications Room was clean and comfy Location was perfect Bar was phenomenal with great drinks and fantastic staff Had dinner across the street at Homestyle Hotel - food was top notch and friendly staff Highly recommend and I plan to stay again!

Great spot to stay. Owners took a lot of care to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing space. Cool bar inside & perfect outdoor patio with fire pits. Owner/manager was on site and made sure to talk to us and ensure we could get into room/had everything we needed. Will definitely be back, if we pass thru Ludlow again. Thanks again for everything!
