Jackson Gore Inn at Okemo Mountain Resort

We had an awesome experience at Jackson Gore. Hands down, it has one of the best beginner magic carpets I’ve seen. The beginner runs are huge — which makes a massive difference when you’re learning. You actually have time to practice your turns and build confidence instead of feeling like you’re at the bottom in 30 seconds. I was teaching my wife how to snowboard, and it was perfect. It wasn’t overcrowded, so she could focus without feeling rushed or pressured. For anyone trying to help a true beginner, that space and breathing room is everything. After that, I brought my two boys up on the lifts, and the mountain is just absolutely amazing. Great terrain, beautiful views, and something for every level. 3 strikes and we are out. Strike 1. The garage door was being repaired so they kicked us out of the garage for 24 hours. Not the end of the world but wasn’t what we expected. Trudge to the cold car in the overflow lot in the morning.||Strike 2: Our room 226 was overlooking the pool with a roof you could walk out under our window. When I opened it to get some fresh air I noticed you could access it from the other roof/rooms. The window just slid up so I assumed it was just left unlocked. I pushed the window down and it wouldn’t close enough to lock. The wife was a bit uncomfortable with that fact but we tried to forget it. ||Strike 3: We were woke up early via fire alarm from a compressor that wasn’t properly maintained and the smell of smoke in the hallway so time to leave all your belongi

Skye and Deanna in reception made our unexpected need for lodging a breeze! When we arrived at our ski home in Ludlow and found it uninhabitable, I immediately went to Jackson Gore in hopes of salvaging the impromptu ski weekend with my daughter. The team at Jackson Gore reception were gracious and lovely and found us the perfect spot for two nights. The next day while skiing we met Cam on the lift and he shared stories of the resort and encouraged us to try Colman Brook for dinner. Much to our delight that night, we were seated in Cam’s section where he treated us like dear friends, providing fabulous recommendations from entree to dessert. What was almost a disaster lost weekend turned into an amazing time with my daughter and her best friend. Top notch customer service and accommodation
