The bed was hard as a rock. Half my body went numb sleeping on the bed. I had to fold up towels to put under the small of my back & my neck to get somewhat comfortable. The price was too much for the conditions of the bed. The microwave worked fine so there is a positive note. No coffee maker. No grab handle in the shower. No carpeting so the hardwood floor was cold. Not a great experience. So it was the best I could get for the area & the price. Still not a great stay. Would not recommend if you want comfort. I'd recommend maybe the days inn down the street if you can get a good price. I won't stay here again. Not til they get better conditions. Not being mean just being honest.

Suburban Studios Raleigh – Crabtree Valley was one of the worst hotel stays ever. The room condition and overall experience were completely unacceptable for a paying guest. The lamp by the bed was literally hanging crooked off the wall, looking broken and unsafe, as if no one had even bothered to fix it between guests. The bedside table was covered in chips, nicks, and dark marks that made it look filthy and neglected rather than merely “worn.” The bed base was exposed, stained, and dirty, which made the entire sleeping area feel grimy and unsanitary. On top of that, the refrigerator made a constant, weird humming noise that was far too loud to ignore, making it impossible to relax or sleep. Detailed Review of My Stay – Please Read Before Booking I spoke with the General Manager, Adria, on December 4th before booking because I’d seen multiple reviews about roaches. I asked her directly if the reviews were true. She neither confirmed nor denied it, but reassured me the property was “treated” and I could trust the rooms were clean. Unfortunately, my experience proved otherwise. Upon arrival, I was given Room 104. The man at the front desk confidently told me it was “the best room” they had—clearly untrue. As soon as I entered, I saw the room was worn down, the floors were sticky, the microwave had crumbs, the tub lining had mold, and the cleanliness was unacceptable. The sheets and the pillowcases were all wrinkled. The walls in the bathtub were dirty. The cabinets had Doors missing. It was chip paint the door to the bathroom was falling apart at the bottom base. The room smelled. I would not stay there again.

I’ve stayed at Suburban Studios in Crabtree Valley a few times now, and while it’s not usually my go-to style of hotel, I keep coming back for one reason: the people here actually care. The location is insanely convenient for my work, but the real standout is the staff. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been professional, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure guests are taken care of. Huge shoutout to the General Manager — she is phenomenal. She literally walked me to multiple rooms so I could check them out before choosing one. You don’t see that level of service anymore. She’s warm, patient, and absolutely awesome at her job.
