Studios & Suites 4 Less Western Branch

Wish I could give zero stars, they gave me room 426 last night, when I checked my sheets and pillows, there was some Brown stain on the pillow case. I called and ask could I switch rooms, the Indian lady said no and that she had a customer and hung up the phone. When I went down to ask could I switch a room because I didn't know what type of stain it was on the pillow. She said she didn't believe me and asked for the picture. I said I will bring the pillow downstairs so you could see for yourself. By the time I got in the room she called the room phone and told me I had to get out and she would give me my money back and I'm not allowed to stay there after she threw my money at me. I needed a hotel in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area for 1 night, so I opted to use Priceline's "name your own price" feature. This was my mistake and I won't do it again. To use this feature, I had to let Priceline choose the hotel but I did so thinking that they would truly pick out a 3.5 star hotel for me since that's what I bid on. After I committed to letting them pick out my 3.5 star hotel, I learned that they picked this "Studios and Suites 4 Less" property in the Western Branch section of Chesapeak. This seemed like a decent location for me since I had to drive just 8 miles from there to Hampton, VA the next morning. But this was a hotel chain I'd never heard of before. The sheets on the bed was not changed blood was still on the sheets I would never stay here again. No soap in the room and only one wash clothes that’s crazy. There supervisor need to do better on checking these room behind the worker. And y’all have to check y’all sheets when u stay at hotels now days.

This hotel was very disappointing and looked nothing like the pictures online. The room smelled strongly of marijuana and was not clean. The area around the hotel felt unsafe. I did not feel safe or comfortable staying here.

Now honestly I'm not the type of person who likes to complain about things. Don't get me wrong the room space and layout was decent for what it's worth. Once I got off the elevator the whole entire 4th Floor was heavily smoked out. This was at 3pm checking-in. We did have a smoking room but the STRONG CHEMICAL Smoke smell that was filling the hallway also filled our room. Thick white smoke 😷. And I'm not talking about cigarettes or flower smoking. When I say that's some crazy work to be in a building that allows smoking but the windows don't open. And the people here are smoking pretty much anything they can burn.
