Studio 6 Suites Vancouver, WA - Waterfront

I got a 1 bedroom suite which was nicely appointed. It was very spacious and clean. The only downsides were that there was a few sketchy people around but they weren't loud or crazy, and the room itself was VERY bleak and cold feeling and desperately needed some artwork on the walls. The top blanket for the bed looked and felt just like the cloth shower curtain in my bathroom. Other than my small gripes, place was really good value for the money.

Positive: Location. Negative: The hot water didn't work in our room, and room service came and knocked and knocked until I answered the door at 6 AM, even though I was staying another night. I didn't feel well and I didn't want to get up but the knocking continued until I answered.

During the time I was there, a murder happened, but I didn’t know till I read it in the Columbian. One morning I opened the dumpster and there was a dude in there. He was alive. On Friday I stayed up all night as the adjoining room dealt something to a lot of people all night and the motels phone was disconnected so you’re pretty much on your own. If you don’t mind drug dealers next to your room, this is the place for you.

This place surprised me with the room that they provided. It was described as a suite which meant he'd had a king size bed, a desk, a workstation, and a fridge freezer. It was clean and quiet. Definitely defies the general motel 6 reputation based on its pricing. I would recommend it as good value and if you're in a pinch like I was definitely somewhere I would feel safe and recommending others to stop.

Great price at a great location. Large fridge and freezer and microwave in each room. Management on site and friendly. Love this place!
