Studio 6 San Antonio, TX – Northwest Medical Center

I gave the location 4 stars because of its proximity to all of the hospitals... Otherwise, I don't think you want to go out to your vehicle without some pepper spray. Someone literally came up to me and asked if I knew where to score. If you have a loved one in the hospital and are looking for an inexpensive place to lay your head at night, the rooms are a bit run down but mine was clean. It would be great if they had security cameras that viewed the parking area instead of just the walkway in front of the doors to the rooms. I often stay at motel 6's in other towns so know what to expect but this particular location has a LOT of foot traffic in and around the parking lot which I wasn't comfortable with... Location is the best thing about this place. Did not have complimentary soaps. Rooms said non-smoking but it clearly had been smoked in. Mattress was lumpy But it is directly next to a gas station Taco Bell McDonald's etcetera

I saved hundreds vs staying downtown. A lot of restaurants were open 24 hrs here & downtown is not.

The rooms are completely filthy floor bathroom bedsheets. Everything totally filthy and stinky. Staff is very unfriendly and tries to cheat you on the price of the room horrible pillows, horrible towels, horrible sheets, insects everywhere.

I have been here two months going on three so this is my absolute honest review . For the price it's literally the cleanest , nicest studio I've seen in town. The only thing it's lacking is a stove top but honestly hasn't been to much of an issue at all . I've seen the other locations and this is by far the most updated and cleanest . The AC works amazing never had an issues , the fridge is great , comes with a microwave , and coffee maker . The shower has decent water pressure and the bathroom is spacious . I use my own linens so I can't comment on that but as far as the staff they have been nothing but professional, friendly and warm to me !
