Studio 6 Miamisburg, OH - Dayton

I stayed at this hotel for about a month on and off. The place is okay if you’re going through a hardship, but there are a lot of issues that need to be addressed. The hotel rents rooms to both regular guests and people in drug and alcohol programs that insurance pays for. Most of the employees are nice, but housekeeping is terrible. I had to deep clean my own room because the vents were full of dust, dirt, and hair. The mattress and curtains had blood stains, which is completely unacceptable. It’s clear that rooms are not being cleaned properly. Also, they are not good about giving deposits back, so make sure you document everything when you check in and out. This hotel needs serious improvement in cleanliness and honesty.

The motel was in poor repair. We didn't have bath towels, only hand towels. Heat didn't work. Had to ask for extra blankets. Firedoor across the hall slammed loudly all night. Did not get quiet in halls until 4a.m. Was offered a second room the next night but a family of children ran the halls playing until 2a.m. even though management spoke to them. We forfeited our 3rd night prepay just to go elsewhere and get some sleep. The 3rd room they offered us had a broken beeping smoke alarm. Comfort suits were not much more but infinitely better, cleaner, nicer. This was just horrible. The front desk was apologetic and would have refunded our money, but we prepaid through booking.com for 3 nights. A real mistake. Stayed here for 2 weeks . Housekeepers do not clean and the management gets mad if you don't sweep and mop your own room the housekeepers do not clean the bathrooms at all they don't sleep or mop rooms if you're lucky they will change your beds however I've known people that have had to do their own beds in our own house just be aware

The room pictures you'll find of this location are incredibly misleading, it's far dirtier than depicted, and neither room we were in had top blanket comforters- just a sheet and thin blanket. Initially we were booked in a room where the door had obviously been broken into before. The door latch was broken and nonfunctional and I had to shoulder the door to open it, with and without the keycard. The "human trafficking awareness" poster the front desk had hanging behind it didn't provide much comfort. When placed in another room by request, we realized both rooms had broken appliances, stains on the walls, counters, and sheets. The floors and walls were sticky, and there was enough food and discarded trash like bottle caps behind/under the bed and in the bathroom we were surprised rats

Staff was friendly, but first impressions room wise were meh. Stains on the wall, floor needed to be mopped, beds were small. Honestly just needs a deep clean and light maintenance fix up. Not sure what the fake reviews are with the food though, cause they don't serve any sort of breakfast or grab and go. But good location, mall across the street, plenty of entertainment and food places close by
