Studio 6 Houston, TX - Westchase

It’s very nice here, good hotel, I like it, clean and good!!! Only bad is the bed is too soft!!!

I like this Studio 6 but I have a few things that need to be addressed. First for being a 100% smoke free property should include the parking lot. I shouldn’t walk into the building and walk into someone’s second hand smoke because they are smoking right outside the building. Brought it to the desk clerk’s attention and he seemed like he didn’t care. Oh and there were children on premises. Texas state law requires 21+ to be around smoking. Furthermore my wife is allergic to cigarette smoke and almost passed out while driving. Second when I went to make coffee there was a used coffee pod in the coffee pot. Plus I found an ear pod in the top of the coffee pot where the coffee pod goes. Like someone was trying to listen to people in the room. Third the room was great but why was the microwave

They are doing some remodeling, but other than that it's a good place to stay. My room came with two queen beds and were comfortable. It also had a kitchenette as well as a full size refrigerator. The wifi was periodically slow, but overall it worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable.

My stay here has been great so far other than this man that's outside of my door right now putting together a desk or something with some power tools making all of this noise. I'm on the second floor. I can't believe they don't have an area for their maintenance people to do this other than in the middle of the hallway where the guest are staying right outside our rooms.
