Studio 6 Extended Stay - Greensboro, NC - I-40

Tonight I stopped by office to get a new key, and the front desk clerk Shay was very helpful. Not only did she help me tonight she also help me last night as well when it came to helping me with toiletries, everytime I see her she's always working cleaning as well as helping guest with issues

Me and my husband came to america to be with family for a funeral , we heard studio six because we heard it was the best hotel in the states. We were told it was affordable with five star rooms , well it actually turned out to be a nightmare to say the least .upon walking into the room our bed had cigarette burns on the sheets , our towels were dirty they looked used with black stains and what appeared to be blood stains . My husband spent the better half of the evening catching roaches in a cup which was disturbing I have never seen a roach in real life until we got into that hotel room . The fridge was missing its shelfs we had no night stands and the room was the size of a closet. I booked this room via booking.com. They sold me a floor plan that doesn't exist. I contacted the location and spoke with Tianna. She was the individual who advised me there is no such floorplan known as a quadruple room. She was rude and didn't seem to care much about the booking. She told me to contact booking.com and get my money back. To be clear I needed a non smoking room with a double bed, on the first floor due to my special needs. I took Tianna's advice and contacted booking.com and they are location in a far off land and presented a communication barrier. I told them that the accommodation was not available. They said before they could refund my payment the needed to reach out to the provider and verify the unavailability. They told me to wait 40 minutes for them to make contact.

Very disgusting experience. I stayed here with my sister on 10/31-11/01 in room #316. We requested a non-smoking room and got one (no smoking sticker on door). However, the whole room had a very pungent smell of cigarette smoke and there were cigarette burns on the bedsheets and furniture. There were also cockroaches and bedbugs in the beds, fridge, walls, and bathroom. We had to leave in the middle of the night because of this. When talking to the man at the front desk about this, he didn't seem to care. The floors were also very sticky and almost every surface was dirty/stained. (Including the bedsheets). We tried contacting the company about getting a refund over this and had no luck.

Had to stay for a few days due to poor travel planning, but I was pleasantly surprised with the room quality, no issues for me whatsoever. The front desk was helpful and Kamari helped me resolve an accounting glitch without any wait or hassle. Would go back if everything stays the same!
