Studio 6 Eureka, CA – Old Town

Nice little Studio motel near Old Town. I was pleasantly surprised by the room. Everything is clean and in good condition, including a modern induction range. The kitchenette was a little tight, but its manageable. I appreciate the option to have the motel supply cookware that is compatible with induction. Overall, an affordable option that allows you to be walking distance from Old Town Eureka, and a short drive from some great beaches.

Walked into a spotlessly clean room but the odor of cleaning liquids was over whelming. I opened all the windows for about a half hour to get some fresh air. My HVAC was loud in room 116 and I found it difficult to sleep with it on. You can hear the other rooms some but it was not a problem, the beds & pillows are excellent, very comfortable. I made my reservation via Expedia and when I arrived, they did not have it. They honored the pricing and gave me a room, not sure if it is the hotel's fault or the website. Good price given hotels are pretty expensive in Eureka.

Positive: It was great having a two bedroom with a kitchenette. Negative: The only bad thing was the neighbors were very loud during all hours of the night however that is not the motels fault.

Clean and secure facility with wonderful concierge. A friendly gentleman named Krish made check-in simple and easy. The only thing I would note regarding this business is the switch they have made to the electronic concierge kiosk. It is always better to rely on people rather than technology and none of us want to be replaced by robots. That said, the front desk also has physical staff to ensure there are no issues. Remote concierge services are excellent for security purposes and ensuring there is no overload at times of high volume however it is essential that facilities continue to employ locals and remote concierge services are supplemental, not primary for guests.

Customer service was very good. I would recommend anybody to book with them. The rooms are clean new Furniture’s and you could cook and they provide pot and plate and you have a stove in your room with your personal fridge.
