Stone Waters Inn

We have a cabin ourselves in between Mancelona and Bellaire. We dont keep it plowed, so we always choose the Stonewater when we come into town over the winter. You just can't beat the comfort, cleanliness, location, and view. I brag this place up whenever I can and bring friends by during the summer just to show it off so that maybe they will stay some time. On a side note, thanks for credit on my bill just because the fridge wasnt working. I didnt expect that. Very nice of you.

This lovely Inn is happily situated near a river and beautiful landscape and foliage. The rooms were neat and clean. Good lighting and fans. I rented the Kings suite and it was peaceful and quiet with a wonderful bed and extra pillows. An outdoor hot tub sits in a picture ask nature setting. I never got to meet the end keeper but I spoke with her on the phone when I booked and she was great. Her staff is lovely and accommodated all of our requests.We are happily going to go back in April for my birthday.

What a pleasant surprise adding this hotel and town to our tour of fall colors. The location was beautiful as was the lobby. Beat my friend in a game of pool, then walked over to Short’s Brewery and enjoyed a Bellaire Brown. Also enjoyed supper at nearby Toonie’s Fish &Steak House! A great night! Recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

⭐ Very Disappointing Experience First of all, after paying ₹1900 per person as entry, we weren’t even provided a table. The staff asked us to go back and speak to the people who sold us the entry passes instead of helping us. Their attitude was rude and unprofessional. After somehow speaking to the manager, we finally got a table — which shouldn’t have been this difficult in the first place. When we ordered a Breezer, they served Bacardi and casually said both are the same, which is completely unacceptable. The worst part was the food. We ordered lobster, and what we were served was chilli chicken stuffed into a lobster shell, and they claimed it was lobster. This is shocking and misleading. We loved this place. The property is on the river just below the spillway. This creates a beautiful scene and the sound of water flowing is excellent for creating a calming environment and a great night's sleep. When you arrive, it's almost a b&b experience. You call the staff who lives on site, upstairs. They pop down, show you the room. Make sure you're all set. Provide a 15% discount at a lovely little restaurant, a half a block away. The rooms are well apportioned. The beds are super comfortable. We loved it! Very clean too! The location is great. You have a river and a park on one side and the town on the other side. It's a small town but they have a couple of really good restaurants and are close to skiing, boating, golf, bicycling, kayaking, fishing and every other kind of outdoor
