Bellaire Inn

Stayed here many times the last couple of years during visits. I've enjoyed the short easy walk to gas station for morning coffee or afternoon snack many times. That said, I've been looking online for any news related to new contact information, as I've been unable to get ahold of anyone for about a week as I try book a room through the 2 phone numbers & 1 email address I've found.

Our stay started out just fine. The lady, I presume the owner, was pleasant as we checked in. Room was clean. A good start for a place we had no experience with. We understood the place came with rules; we are not smokers, nor party people - so no biggie. We did find it strange for a place that doesn’t want you cooking in the rooms, the room was equipped with a microwave. Mini fridge we plugged in when we got there, in case we had leftovers from eating out. No big deal. AC worked great. Blinds were okay, but needed new tensioning as not all were connected any longer. Had to carefully position them to get privacy in the room. Again, no biggie. Bed was very saggy, and jiggly, would recommend the owners updating to better quality beds. But, we made it through the first night, no problem. Ho

Needs updated rooms. Better lighting but the beds are great, showers are nice. Just needs some updates. Restaurant in the same lot? If someone opened this up? Gold mine for.sure. there is really no breakfast place around other than McDonald's . Lovely area to visit. Big rooms and quiet for sure. Loved the stay.

Had another local motel somehow lose my reservation, wne down the road to here. Individual in charge of reservations, went above and beyond checking availability & getting me set up for the few days i was there. Additionally, i randomly ran into a gentleman while i was there who ws super polite when he greeted me. Found out later he was the new owner of the inn. So in short, the staff was amazing & so was my stay. If going to Bellaire, this should be first place youc heck for a room.

My stay was comfortable and clean. Room 103 has two comfortable and clean double beds, a small frig, a microwave, and like new bathroom. Four chairs in the room. The heater works well on a cold evening in early May. The lady at the desk was very nice. Not more than 20 miles from Gaylord, I choose this place because of it's proximity to Boyne Mountain resorts and Mancelona. And the lady said that this place was the newest place in town and the price was reasonable. It looks newer. Then tomorrow onto Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore for some Sunday afternoon hiking.
