StayCozy at The Frankford

I was dubious of this place after seeing the price and other reviews. But after my stay for a night with a friend, I decided it was perfect. We paid 160 for a huge apartment, 2 separate bedrooms... It was a no brainer. There was no check in, which is why they ask for your driver's license, so it was easy to get in with provided codes. And its a great location, right by the restaurant where we had a late boozy dinner and then walked right to bed. No issues with the room, seemed clean and well maintained. I'll be back for sure.

We have stayed here a few times when it was still owned by Sonder and had a great experience, so despite change in ownership with Hightop LLC, we booked again…well, it’s gone quite a bit downhill. All of these good reviews have got to be when it was owned by Sonder because our stay this time around was very different. Be aware these same units are also listed on Airbnb as well, called “The Cozy”, I believe. All photos of when the units were brand new and well kept. I will start by saying the host was very responsive to our complaints and answered things fairly quickly. We did get offered a late check out because of cigarette smell in the bathroom, but we’re not happy with that as the strong smoke odor caused us a headache. My second time staying here, great Fishtown location, apartment is comfy and spotless. When I discovered that my toaster was broken, they replaced it with a brand new one that same day. Highly recommend!

I see a number of complaints here. The place was almost perfect for me. Everything I needed was there, and my Thanksgiving was "Good" and the cooking went well there for me too. Sometimes people shouldn't "complain" so much, but be "Thankful" for the little things that so many people don't have in this country and in the world I would recommend this place! Peace..
