Staybridge Suites San Antonio Downtown Conv Ctr, an IHG Hotel

This place was fantastic. The hotel is clean, and the staff is fantastic. No complaints. i read previous reviews and appears someone was upset over music in the area. I have to say as someone who travels regularly, this is bound to happen in major cities with major venues next to them. I hate to see bad reviews on reputable places that have not control over the surrounding venues. My experience was nothing but fantastic. I will definitely be back and enjoy what the area has to offer. Life is too short and I'm going to dance my way through it.

The hotel is conveniently located downtown, just a 10-minute walk from the Riverwalk and several speakeasies. They offer a complimentary breakfast buffet with a different selection each day. In addition, guests can enjoy a free social hour Monday through Wednesday, featuring wine and beer, appetizers, and a light dinner. The service is exceptional every staff member is kind, friendly, and genuinely caring. The manager, Brian, is fantastic, and the chef, Aaron, is truly one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. He is genuine, and his food tastes amazing

Roland in the breakfast area was the best.  Checking on everyone to see if they needed any oj, etc.  So very friendly and personable.  It felt like he was family. Also all of the registration crew at the desk were all great.  Would highly recommend this hotel.Juli Cain

PROS: We stayed here at Stay Bridge when we were attending the Alamo Bowl game between TCU and USC. It was a perfect location because we walked about five minutes to get to the game and we can easily walk to the riverwalk area. The room was nice and spacious and clean. The breakfast had a variety of hot and cold items. The food overall was okay. I've been to other places that offered a free buffet and actually had better quality than this location. They staff workers were nice, and it appears that they were usually working hard. We would consider staying here again. NEGATIVE: the only thing that I did not like was the final bill. The estimated price online was much lower than what we were charged. Our bill should have been close to $400 for 2 nights, which included $30 parking, which I t

The African American lady that does front desk, her name starts with a G and has her daughter or family there, is a wonderful human being. She made everything amazing and I truly enjoyed talking to her. Promote above peers. I think her name starts with a G Only issue I had which I know is relative to me is I could hear the elevator when I was in my room. I don’t sleep well (due to military) so anything wakes me up. Had a hard time sleeping. Still 5 stars regardless.
