When I first started staying here, it was the best!!! Here lately things has been not so good. There has been toilet issues where I had to walk out my suite and pass the front desk all night to use the bathroom after having a chemotherapy treatment that day. Next time I asked for a blanket and it was FULL of hair. My towels to dry off with were too. Hair was left in the shower and floor. To me that's NASTY!!!! I love the set up of the suites but things can well needs to be done better.

This hotel is perfect for construction workers, dog owners and pot smokers. 1) The desk and cleaning staff are quality but let down by poor room and property condition. Several items in the room were broken, placed in the hall and reported but not replaced. 2) The pool was closed for rain but not reopened the following sunny days. 3) Not secure. Exit door at far end of hallway was typically propped open for access by non guests.

I'll start with the most important thing: I would stay here again. It is in a great location, the staff are wonderful (friendly, professional, helpful, go above and beyond), and the property is clean and up to date. It has everything you need for a stay of multiple days - plenty of storage, well-appointed kitchenette, laundry room with multiple machines, and a good fitness center. Breakfast had solid, healthy choices and rooms were comfortable. Multiple guests had pets, but they were all super well behaved and there was no evidence of them anywhere - the hallways and guest room were quite clean, and I never heard barking or any other evidence of pets. We stayed at this hotel to attend a graduation ceremony at UNC. The exterior of the hotel and the common areas of the hotel are very well kept and nice looking. Parking around the hotel is a bit tight. It's location is very convenient to UNC. The room experience was a bit different. The room had an odor that was very musty. The odor didn't go away over time when the room air was circulated. I asked for an air freshener for the room, but the hotel didn't have any. I would've asked for a new room, but the hotel was obviously full and we were only staying one night. The mattress was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The furniture in the living area was clean-ish. While not dirty per-se, it had stains/spots on it that made it feel like it was dirty.

Hotel refund policies shouldn’t punish people for getting sick, but that’s exactly what happened here. I’m leaving a 1-star review because the hotel refused to refund my night or move my reservation to a different date, even though I called around 12:30 PM the day of check-in. • I had the flu and didn’t want to risk getting other guests sick. I offered to provide medical documentation. • Priceline called on my behalf to move the dates, and the hotel denied it. • I also spoke to the manager directly and got the same answer. • Corporate reservations said the hotel was close to fully booked, so reselling the room likely wouldn’t have been an issue. To be fair, the manager (Shadrika) was polite. But the lack of flexibility and refusal to work with a sick guest makes this an easy 1 star. If y
