stayAPT Suites San Antonio-Lackland

We really liked StayAPT Suites in San Antonio for the most part. It's newer, lots of space inside, clean, etc. But beware - the office/lobby is only open limited hours each day so, if you are arriving late or needing to check out early, there isn't anyone there to help you. They really need to keep regular hotel hours for their guests. If you need anything after hours, you are out of luck. We were only given 1 serving to make coffee and they weren't open to ask for more the next morning. The garbage on the 3rd floor was overflowing and wasn't dumped during our stay. That's asking for mice and bugs to set up homes there. I'm listing our concerns but, overall, we really did like this place, just know that the hours for a staffed front desk are limited.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Stay Apt Suites Lackland and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the modern, apartment-style accommodations that really make you feel at home. The spacious rooms come with all the amenities you could need a fully equipped kitchenette, a cozy living area, Gym and laundry room , which is perfect for longer stays. But what really set this place apart was the cleanliness. Everything was spotless from top to bottom. It’s clear that the housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work. Great customer service. From the front desk to housekeepers— so sweet. So helpful. They accommodated my family and I so well to ensure a comfortable stay. We will definitely be returning every time we visit San Antonio!

Rooms are perfect for a short or long stay. Common kitchenware is provided, and there is a dollar store less than one mile away for anything extra. Staff is very friendly and hospitable. Good water pressure and comfy beds. AC is good and strong. Couch has a fold out bed as well, so that's an extra benefit. Location is right next to a shopping plaza, so basically everything you need is very close (walking distance if you don't mind busy roads). The gym is inept, but there are numerous gyms in the area you can join if that's your thing. I found Crunch Fitness was well accommodating for a short term membership. Only other negative is it is located on the corner of commuter roads which are VERY noisy and the windows are not sound insulated (my window wouldn't latch closed proper to make it wor

The room was great the only issue we had was livingroom tv did not work but they did work with us. Loved being able too cook when we wanted. Also very glad it was a pet friendly establishment.
