The Starry Night Inn is perfect. Amazing amenities, location, affordable art for sale inside. Walkable to all of the main spots in Seaside (restaurants, mall, aquarium, beach). Haystack rock is a short drive away. They have a small spa in the back where you rent the whole thing by the hour so it’s very private. You really get a lot for the price. The employee I spoke to was really nice and helpful. Love this place. Incredible vibes. Will be back!
I've stayed at the Starry Night Inn's sister property, Sea Glass Inn, twice now for a convention in town. You are offered the same amenities but have to walk across the street. No big deal at all. Here's the things y'all NEED to consider when booking so there's no surprises: The main inn is a Victorian era building. There are quirks and features, mostly quirks. Thin walls, narrow stairs, oddball layouts etc. My advice is to BOOK DIRECTLY if possible and not third party. I didn't have the foresight at the time to do so, I just wanted to secure a room for the convention and not deal with it - but the Booking app did correctly describe the two bedroom suite accurately. It's noisy at times with the traffic nearby, you can hear conversations, it's quirky and cozy. There's 24 hour access to the
Really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable beds and homey furnishings. Also supports local artists with the pieces on the wall being for sale. Downstairs living room has coffee and food available whenever as well as board games and a VCR that you can use. Innkeepers seem very friendly (but not intrusive). Easy walk to shops/restaurants/beach. Loved the whole town of Seaside - definitely appreciated the character and grittiness of it in comparison to Cannon Beach.
Be prepared for no privacy and hearing everything in the inn. My boyfriend and I came down from WA for a getaway. Lots of homeless people in the area as well. Unfortunately, the rooms were far smaller than the photos appeared to be. Booking on AirBNB is confusing so we thought we were getting a hotel room sized room. I wouldn’t recommend a couple coming here together, maybe a solo trip would be fine though. I tried requesting a refund and they of course denied it. Hosts were passive aggressive in the text messages.
My partner and I stumbled across Seaside passing through. Our stay at Starry Night Inn made the entire trip. We stayed at Mcmenamins Edgefield the night prior which was cool, but we thought to ourselves...Starry Night Inn is perfect, we pinned this area and plan to return. We were able to check out shops and walk to the beach. The area is incredibly walkable. We slept so well, the amenities, trinkets and artful touches just felt like home to us and we loved every minute of our rest. We wanted to stay another night but the weekend was booked (not surprised!) We brought two ESA dogs with us and they loved the area. There's a couple of hang out spots on the property and my senior pup didn't have to move too far to find a good potty spot. The lounge was my favorite. I am so fond of the odditi
