Starlite Motel

For the hours we arrived, it was convenient. We had many issues with the room, but the bed seemed clean and the shower worked ok. The TV had one channel, bugs kept us up most of the night, but the fridge and microwave worked wonderfully.

This is hands down the trashiest place I have ever stayed. There was black mold in the shower and the hotel was in an overall state of disrepair. The customer service was a joke. The owner and his son actually told me not to wake them up if there was anything wrong with the room. I checked in around 12:30 AM, and had an early start the next day. Had this not been the case there is no way I would have paid to stay in such a heap of rubble. This hotel is NOT family friendly in any way. The unsavory characters wandering around and staying on the motel grounds were alarming to say the least. Good if you are looking for an inexpensive place to crash while on the road. There is some crazy stuff going on here, make no mistake about it. There are some folks who rent by the month and are friendly but definitely worth using caution around. Please exercise caution here. You get what you pay for. Nothing wrong with that. Glad these guys were here when I was on a tight budget.

The most disgusting place I've ever stayed at. Crack head was walking around at 3AM, very sketchy. I wish I slept in my car instead. Room was SO nasty, everything felt like it was covered in a layer of grime. We didn't even brush our teeth here because the faucet was so foul. Avoid at all costs. Also smelled very weird.

Helped a friend check in here. Customer service was very poor. All but 1 employee looked as if they couldn't care less about anything. An employee strolls up and down the corridor looking suspicious. Majority of the tenants look suspicious. Outside and inside of building run down and very, very dated. Wouldn't be surprised if this place was infested with bugs. Has a bad vibe and I got out of there ASAP. Janky hotel in a bad part of town. Do not go. You would honestly be better (and safer) camping in the countryside than stepping foot in this God-forsaken place.
