Starling House

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Starling House. We hosted our groom’s dinner there the night before our wedding, used it to get ready the day of, took photos throughout the property, and stayed with several of our friends. Everyone who visited was blown away by how stunning the home is. Our photographer even had a hard time choosing where to shoot because every room is uniquely beautiful. Not only is the house incredible, but the owners were just as amazing. They let us tour the home beforehand, allowed us to check in early to prepare for the dinner, and were always quick to respond to any questions we had. We’re so grateful to have had such a perfect space to celebrate such a special time in our lives.

We loved our experience at Starling House in Alexandria. We hosted a bridal shower with 16 ladies and everyone loved it! The house is decorated beautifully & there was plenty of room for everyone. The hosts were attentive to every detail and delightful to work with. I would highly recommend Starling House for any gathering or get-away.

We recently hosted a fundraising dinner at The Starling House. I wish I could give them 10 stars. These women are so accommodating to work with. They allowed us to view the home beforehand which helped to see how everything would flow. They were prompt and helpful with every question and change I made! Then there is the home. Their story should be on HGTV! This home is gorgeous down to the minute details. They have maintained the integrity of the period it was built in their restoration. Our guests were wowed by its unique beauty. I felt it added to the intimacy of our non-profit event. I highly recommend The Starling House. I want to hold another event there. 🥰

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Starling House! This historic estate is stunning & HUGE, much bigger than I expected. We loved the original features mixed with updated details, the owners thought of everything. Plenty of parking, water in every room, welcome basket, fully stocked kitchen & coffee bar, comfy beds & towels, outdoor amenities like yard games, fishing gear, life jackets, game room & so much more! The weather wasn’t great during our visit in April, but that made us enjoy this unique home even more! Plus it’s close to everything. I already want to come back with girlfriends!
