Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Alexandria

Nice clean space, only reason it isnt 5 stars- we had some noisy neighbors above us. No fault by the hotel, and they were able to accommodate our need to move rooms so we could sleep. Other than that, very helpful staff, and its a good place to stay. Right off I-94, easy access to stores and restaurants. 5 minute drive to the heart of Alexandria

Just stayed one night as passing through town, but it's a lovely town and hotel. Room was just as expected, clean and up to date. Being early in the week it was quite, so I had the pool all to myself, which was very relaxing. It was a very nice pool, felt clean and not too hot in the area as they sometimes are. Staff were good and we had a very nice stay. Shops and restaurants close by which is convenient.

This is a beautiful hotel! The lobby greets you with a calm, inviting atmosphere that carries on throughout the entire facility. The room was spacious, inviting and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing! It was large and clean and had a spectacular shower!! From the moment we walked in to confirm our registration to the time we checked out, after a delicious breakfast, we felt relaxed and pampered.

Very clean rooms. Great breakfast selection. I'm not sure who was above us but it sounded like someone was jumping off a bed and landing as hard as possible on the floor from about 1am until 5am. The manager Jeff was very accommodating and moved us to a different room for our second night. We will definitely be back!

The Fairfield by Marriott in Alexandria, Minnesota is an excellent hotel. Given some of the other choices in the area and along I-94 through a stretch of small towns, this facility stands out. It was in pristine condition and set a very relaxing atmosphere. The physical location was the worst thing about it but even that wasn't too bad. Its in a shopping/retail area so its convenient but not esthetically pleasing. The front desk staff was friendly and pleasant. The room was in outstanding contion and one of the cleanest hotels rooms that I've stayed in. No loose hairs from the cleaning staff, no areas left inducted, just comfortable and clean. The halls were quiet and my stay was excellent. I would stay here anytime Im in Alexandria.
