Spyglass Inn at Shelter Cove

We had such a wonderful stay at the Dolphin unit at Spyglass Inn in Shelter Cove. Simy, the owner, is truly amazing — so kind, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests having a great experience. The unit itself was spotless, comfortable, and so cozy. The fireplace and living room made it the perfect place to relax, especially since we visited in October and had quite a bit of rain. Honestly, the rainy weather just made it better, we loved getting cozy by the fire. The private hot tub was a highlight. Sitting in it while looking out at the ocean and listening to the waves was pure magic. It was exactly the peaceful R&R we needed, and this place absolutely delivered (and then some). We can’t wait to come back!

The rooms are gorgeous and the view is unbeatable. I cannot highly recommend the Spyglass Inn enough. This has certainly become the go-to unwind spot for my SO and I. Richard is also a fantastic host. He is extremely helpful and great for communication. I highly recommend that you take some time to stay here!

We had a great time a Spyglass Inn. Check-in was easy and smooth. The hot tub worked great and had an amazing view. The room was clean. We could walk to the nearby pizza place for takeout and diner for breakfast or lunch. Thanks for hosting us!

Shelter Cove is a hidden gem. A wonderful brewery with great beer, food and people. Outstanding views and a beautiful beach. The units at SpyGlass are cozy, with all the basic amenities. Add to that the hot tub on the deck facing the ocean. Nothing can beat it. Highly recommend the stay.

We chose Shelter Cove for a much-needed escape, and this BnB was the highlight of our trip. Set on a cliff, the house gives you stunning sunset views right from the backyard along with direct ocean access. The property is beautifully maintained and has a relaxing hot tub on the patio that’s perfect after a long day. It’s also very convenient easy to get to, with a Tesla charging station nearby and 3–4 restaurants within walking distance. The host was warm, attentive, and very helpful, which made the stay even better. Between the comfort of the home, the unbeatable location, and the thoughtful hospitality, this place has everything you could ask for. If you’re planning a trip to Shelter Cove, this BnB is an absolute must-stay!
