Would give it 0/5 if I could. Just a Motell 6 with a Marriott name. Beds were so terrible and old. The "pull out bed" mattress was likely bought from a garage sale it was so old and flat. One night we came home after a long volleyball day and our clothes were not where we put them. We searched and searched and finally found our clothes in our bags in the bottom just shoved in. I immediately went to the front desk but they knew nothing but would make a note of it. It's as if house keeping was in our room but didn't make beds or do anything but mess with our clothes and were looking for valuables. Where do I start? About a week ago I was to check in to this hotel. I had a confirmed reservation. As a Bonvoy member, I would never have thought that my room would be given away to stranded airline passengers. Well low and behold. I was told that they do not have a room for me and that maybe I should go to their sister property for a room and MAYBE they will honor my rate. I was just amazed as this has never happened to me. Peaceful Stay Near Arizona Mills, Clean, Spacious & Convenient 🌴✨ We stayed several nights at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tempe at Arizona Mills Mall, and our experience was excellent overall. The location is super convenient just minutes from major highways, shopping and restaurants yet surprisingly quiet and relaxing. Despite being close to the main road, we didn’t hear any traffic noise at all. The hotel itself is well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Our King Suite on the third floor was spotless, spacious, and included everything we needed: a large TV with Netflix access, mini-fridge, microwave and a cozy sitting area. Do not book here is you are a female travelling alone and uncomfortable when the unhoused population on site after dark! When I read reviews after booking I was prepared for the worst. But it’s not all bad. The lady that said we could check in around 1 pm was fake friendly. It was obvious it was an act as part of here job and not sincere. She promised to call when our room was ready among other things. The gentlemen that did check us in was wonderful. To the breakfast attendant, thank you for letting my husband know there was two bustled of kids in the hotel and to grab food before they started getting up. To hotel staff! You knew you had a massive group in house. You could do way more to ensure regular patrons could be comfortable and have breakfast. Limit the amount of kids in
