Stay away from this place if you value customer service and professional staff. Specifically a young man named Leonard. I was there with my family for 1 night and we left within 1 hour due to the most unprofessional and unpleasant staff at this location. This young man did not have a name tag on, responded to every question as if I was forcing him to work against his will. Normally, hospitality staff, should be in the business of de-escalation and not escalation. Leonard was in the mood to respond to everything with dismissive attitude while demonstrating an unprofessional demeanor. Today is January 20th, 2026, this event occurred on December 27th, 2025. SpringHill Suites by Marriott Savannah I-95 South was decent overall, but had some notable drawbacks. The hotel is conveniently located right off I-95, which makes it an easy stop while traveling. The breakfast was a plus—good variety and better than what you typically expect from a hotel breakfast. The rooms themselves were nice, modern, and comfortable. We were traveling for a soccer tournament, and while the location was convenient for the highway, it was not close to the soccer fields, which meant additional driving each day. The biggest issue was noise. The walls are extremely thin, and during our stay there were kids running up and down the hallways screaming for hours. We could hear everything clearly from our room, which made it difficult to relax. There was also mold on the bathro

Great stay! This hotel had everything we needed. A convenient location, clean and cozy rooms, decent breakfast options, and friendly staff. Speaking of the staff… WOW. If more places employed people with the kind of joy these folks have, what a world it would be. From the front desk to the cleaning staff, hey Maria! Everyone we encountered during our stay was incredibly kind and welcoming. And I have to give a special shoutout to Tonya and Jeanie! Blood/urine stained sheets and bedbugs. This one is a pass for sure. When I checked in and called the desk about the filthy sheets, they told me I could come down and change the linens myself because housekeeping had gone home. I didn’t make a fuss I just did it and then put it in the feedback. |I ended up getting the room paid for because of this - which was appreciated but when I came home, I realized I had bites all over me. If you check the reviews, there are comments about bedbugs on most forums in recent months. The manager sent me a copy of a pest-control report at my request stating there were no bedbugs, but obviously this seems to be an ongoing issue and their inspections/treatments are not very effective or thorough.
