SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Antonio Airport

I’m never one to complain about a business. I have only ever posited positive experiences, but this place needs serious attention. Check-in was delayed for 6+ HOURS due to shortage of staff, despite hosting a major events back to back. Carpets definitely needed some cleaning but the couches and linen needed it more. Couch was grossly stained, didn’t even want to sit on it. Linen was stained with orange marks, even the replacements. Some of the wash rags had the same marks. Some of the bathroom towels smelled like mildew, sickening. I’m not sure what was on the walls, but I wasn’t going to ask. Shower toiletries were terrible quality. Drainage cap kept coming off while I was in the shower, safety concern. Breakfast was not appetizing at all. We ended up eating out instead, after seeing

This hotel is the worst! First room would've been okay but it was too noisy from the freeway and what I wasn't aware of at the time was the airplanes overhead. Second room was a handicap room but there was no water pressure or a way to turn the shower on. There was also a stain on the floor. Third room was not clean. A towel was on the floor, soap was open, trash not removed, dead roach, air conditioner didn't work and what appeared to be a white ant was crawling on my gown. I requested the room be cleaned, it wasn't! I've stayed at Marriott properties previously and I've had very good experiences but this location makes me second guess their commitment to quality. This property should be a Best Western. Don't stay at this hotel!

had a wonderful stay at the SpringHill Suites Airport San Antonio! The front desk staff, Jared and Kimberly, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making check-in and any requests effortless. The entire team was welcoming and ensured a comfortable experience. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, and the coffee was always fresh, which was a great way to start the day. The hotel was clean and conveniently located. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting San Antonio!

Positive: Breakfast was ready a bit earlier than scheduled, which was great due to our early morning schedule. Negative: When I wanted to ask about a late checkout, nobody was at the desk. Even though a male staff saw me form a back room, he kept talking to someone else and did not come to the desk. When I wanted to check out, again, nobody was at the desk! I just left.

Overall a good stay, especially thanks to the excellent customer service. The staff were truly impeccable, and a special shoutout to Nino, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Rooms are clean and comfortable, making this a perfect stop near the airport. The free airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes and takes about 10 minutes max, which is super convenient. There’s also a cute, well-equipped exercise room — just what you need to stay active while traveling. That said, some corridors, walls, and ceilings could use a bit of maintenance. I also had an unfortunate experience during the night: around 4:15 AM, someone who appeared to be part of the room service/shuttle staff attempted to enter my room. According to reception, they believed the room had an early checkout at 3 AM. While I und
