SpringHill Suites by Marriott Phoenix Tempe/Airport

Positive: We arrived after a late flight and were greeted in the same manner as if it were early in the afternoon, instead of very early in the morning! THANK YOU, for having great staff throughout the day and night! Negative: It is a great location and quiet. We truly enjoyed the rest.

The mattress on my bed was comparable to a hide-a-bed mattress. No support whatsoever. The pillows were hard and super thick. The fan in the bathroom did not work. The air conditioner was not able to keep up with the heat outside. The unit needs a serious overhaul. The breakfast was okay. Will not stay there again.

I booked SpringHill Suites Phoenix-Tempe/Airport through my Marriott Bonvoy membership for check-in on September 28th. I arrived around 10 PM, exhausted after a long day. After taking a shower, I was preparing to dry my hair and was shocked to find that the hair dryer was extremely dirty, sticky, and clearly unsanitary.||I immediately contacted the front desk to ask for a replacement. However, the front desk staff responded with a cold and dismissive attitude, saying there were no other hair dryers available and that if I "really needed one," I should come back exactly at 7 AM the next morning to get it. This response was both unreasonable and disrespectful.||I clearly explained that due to health reasons, I must dry my hair before sleeping to avoid severe headaches the next day. I asked f

Convenient location not too far from the airport, which makes this hotel a practical choice if you have an early flight or short stay. You do hear planes passing occasionally, but it’s not disruptive — after all, this is an airport-area hotel and noise didn’t affect sleep. There’s also a very nice walking path along the river nearby, which is a great bonus. That said, several details need improvement. The pool gate was unlocked, and the pool area itself wasn’t well maintained — tables were sandy and wobbly. The room had some cleanliness issues as well: stains on the bedside table and hair left in the shower, which gave the impression it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. Clean, modern, comfortable bed, safe location, separate mirror from large bathroom! This hotel is exceptional, offers a solid value and convenient location for the Phoenix area for business or leisure. Staff were very professional and this place feels a lot nicer than the affordable room rate may imply. Stay here and feel tranquility and enjoy the restfulness!
