SpringHill Suites by Marriott Nashville Downtown/Convention Center

Conveniently located in downtown Nashville. Within walking distance to Broadway, right behind the Bridgestone Arena. This is a very nice hotel, very clean, the bed was so comfortable, and the room was quiet. It had a nice, spacious walk in shower. Breakfast was wonderful, with so many different options, and employees kept it clean and stocked. Someone even took my empty plate from the table and threw it away for me. The hotel has valet parking and there is a $50 daily charge for it. Be prepared to wait for a while when they are busy. They do send a text message to your phone when you check your car with them and that takes you to their site where you can request your car to be brought up when you’re ready for it. My husband and I stayed 5 nights and we really enjoyed our trip! It is so close to the Country Music Hall of Fame, The Ryman and Broadway that we could walk!|The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety so it was good every day! |Our room had a nice view and it was very comfortable!|We really enjoyed appetizers in the bar our last evening and the view was beautiful from there!|The hotel is three Marriotts In one building which was surprising to me!|I would definitely stay at this location again!

We would highly recommend the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Nashville. The location was perfect -only a few blocks walking distance to the center of downtown Broadway where all the honky tonks, bars, restaurants, and museums are. Valet parking was pricey, but seemingly comparable to all the other hotels in the area. The bonus was being able to walk everywhere day or night! This hotel's common areas and room were very clean. There was a weird disinfectant smell when you first enter the hotel from the street, but it did not carry through the whole hotel. The linens were clean as new, and the bedding was comfortable. Just checked out, this was the worst Marriott experience I have ever experienced with Marriott. I am a Platinum Elite member so I travel frequently and am accustomed to how “hotels work”. I was so disappointed in the lack of basic Marriott customer service. The lady at the desk treated me as if I am stupid. I was asking a basic question as she acting like she was doing me a favor to help me. She should not be the face of your hotel. If she is a good employee put her in an office somewhere where she does not have to interact with customers. I would love to tell you her name but she didn’t have a name tag or identification. We were here for 15 hours and the valet wanted to charge me $162 for my Tahoe due to it being oversized when the sign clearly said $70. We also had to go to his office

I originally checked into the SpringHill side, but there was an issue with cleanliness of the suite. I went down to ask for another and Trey, the night manager, stepped in and offered an amazing upgrade in the AC Hotel portion. We were so surprised when we walked into our new suite that I called down to thank him, again. As for location, it's a couple of blocks away from Broadway and valet is $60 a night + tax, but they're amazing.
