SpringHill Suites by Marriott Hampton Portsmouth

Rooms are a great size. Spacious bathroom. Note about the common areas... cleaning supplies are over scented, so if you are sensitive to smells, you might want to stay elsewhere. Also to the person with the BMW who parked under the canopy (NH vanity plates J...), I hope you are not an employee/owner and are just a rude, entitled person because if you are part of the hotel, you should rethink where you park, if your guests matter.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel in the past, but this time around we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. There were hairs/crumbs in the sheets and candy on the floor. Clearly the room was not cleaned as well as it should have been. With the cost, at nearly $700 for 2 nights, I would expect higher standards. We do not recommend.

Positive: Clean, nice bathroom (big), beautiful walk in closet (even in a standard room), everything is very up to date. Negative: The size of the pool is a bit small (lap swimming option would be nice) and a hot tub is really needed!

Hotel is extremely comfortable and clean.. no complaints at all… however at 2:30 am for several hours had kids running up and down the hallways banging around and 0 was done about it by front desk staff. Kept the 4th floor awake for hours after several complaints…. Wish the staff took that more seriously. I paid 200 dollars to be able to sleep. Not to be awake all evening because of immature children.

Would definitely stay here again! Very clean and spacious rooms. My family enjoyed our stay very much!
