Windjammer By The Sea Motel

What a gem! The location is wonderful, a quiet area just across the street from the beach. The property is very well maintained, you can tell the owners and property managers truly care about their guests, the area and the community. Quiet location, about 3 miles from the main drag of Hampton Beach, limited traffic ...very family friendly and totally relaxing. The accommodations are very clean, well kept and gives you a sense of home and comfort. The rooms have a great view of the ocean, you can hear the tide and watch the breakwater mist at high tide. There’s a great surf shop and smoothie bar within walking distance just past the parking spaces.||Can not say enough about the owners ! Anne and Rick, Thank you so much for your warming and pleasant hospitality, everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. What a great location for dining and sea adventures, a grill offered to cook our dinners, nice pool, a clean and welcoming room to sleep and we enjoyed the conversation as well. Anne, you were so thoughtful with the homemade scones, thank you again. Our fur baby, Theo was welcomed and loved by you, Rick and every passerby at the Windjammer. This place is overall just amazing. Great family owned business with clean and livable rooms you may not find at other hotels. Building was built in the 1800’s but still looks brand new. None of the rooms are the same which makes it so unique. You will always see staff trying their hardest to make sure you have a great stay and make you want to come back and explore even more! Upon check in we called up to Rick and he came right down and checked us in and we were all ready for our stay. I woke up to the sunrise off the ocean and it was beautiful. Room 29 is a great room if you are traveling with someone else. You even get your own lounge chair with a table and 3 chairs on your deck to overlook the ocean. Housekeeping was persistent and made sure we had everything we needed! Will for sure

Made a reservation for an ocean view room with a deck but our reservation could not be found when we arrived. We were put in a 3rd floor room with 2 small windows that overlooked the parking lot. Maid service was spotty--on arrival, one pillowcase had bloodstains on it. Second day the room was made up, 3rd day we got towels, but beds unmade. No one could ever be found to ask questions about our reservation and whether we could switch to a different room. No shampoo or kleenex is provided in the room. Our room had strange little windows that opened to the stairway going down, so it was noisy with people going up yhe stairs or outside from the floor below, and the shutters banged in the breeze. There was a small window air conditioner that took up 1/2 of one of the windows, but it was so n

Nice little motel by the ocean for a good price! It has a nice pool, it's a little small but TONS of beach chairs and very refreshing to take a quick dip then lounge by the pool. It's a little outdated inside the rooms, toilets are weirdly low and the sink/oven unit is outdated (but still works!) and the floor definitely isn't level, but they've done an excellent job keeping it tidy and very clean! They are very welcoming and make the beds everyday, and rumors of scones tomorrow? Either way, DEFINITELY recommend this place
