SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charleston North/Ashley Phosphate

Absolutely loved our stay here! The room was very nice and spacious! Love the extra sitting area! Loved the great deal we got by going through trips.com. Will definitely be staying here again! The amazing breakfast was just icing on the cake!

To start checkin was easy and the staff was friendly. That's the good part. Only one elevator was working so imagine how long it takes to move a full hotel of 4 floors up and down. Bring a book to read while waiting. Breakfast was ok when it was timely replenished. No coffee after breakfast closed and no water fountains to refill water bottles. Oh and did I mention how loud the stopes were from the floor above? The beds were well used and need replacing. I can go on but think I will save my fingers.

Let’s just say this: I have been in and out of alot of Hotels. We stayed here January 16th and 17th. In the evening our front desk lady was over the top with friendliness, hospitality and just over all great attitude! The room was clean and the bed was perfect. It was such a nice place with a great breakfast and the host was more than accommodating to us. Just made us feel like we were with family at home. Thank you ladies.

If you like to be treated like a human being and talked to like a person, then skip this hotel!! The management team is something else. Customer service should always be a priority when dealing with patrons. Apparently, this location did not get that memo. The last time I was here, I was too tired to write a review or say anything. This time, I am making sure that I write a review. From the time that I walked into the lobby, it took a few minutes to be greeted. The desk agent was making parking passes and filing those in a bin on the desk. Finally, when he greeted me, I gave him my name and mentioned that I had checked in online and just wanted to grab a hard key. He did not even ask my name and just stated " Check-in is at 3pm ". This is my go-to place when I have to spend the night in the area. There is always a friendly greeting at the check-in desk. Plenty of amenities around the hotel. Traffic is crazy at this exit of I-26, but that's what one gets for convenient location. I docked a star for the 3 silverfish that greeted me in the room's bathtub. It's been raining a bit and the moisture is high.
