SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chambersburg

We had a really great stay, and a big part of that was the amazing customer service from Dhara and Tammy. From the moment we arrived, they both had such friendly, positive attitudes that made us feel welcome right away. They noticed that I had an old credit card on file and kindly pointed it out, which gave me the chance to update it and get the Marriott app working properly — something I probably wouldn’t have realized until later. After we got to the room, we realized we actually needed a king bed. When I asked about switching, Tammy didn’t hesitate at all. She handled it quickly and made the whole process easy and stress-free. She even helped us out with pool towels later on, which we really appreciated. Little things like that make a big difference. Perfect overnight stop||I travel extensively in the USA, often driving on Road Trips, where I keep off the big roads and enjoy the quieter, more tranquil area whenever i can. |After a day touring The Gettysburg Battlefield, Chambersburg was an ideal stop. The SpringHill Suites were east to find in the newer commercial development a little out of town with all the stores, restaurants and newer hotels clustered together. |I like the space you get in SpringHill Suites. Everything seems to work, from a spacious, separate desk and lounge area, to a bathroom with all required facilities. This SpringHill was newer and fresh with all i could require to hit the road the next morning. |SpringHill Suites, like most hotel chain brands, are all pretty homogenous, so there will be no surprises. I stayed at this hotel from October 24–26, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing Marriott experiences I’ve ever had. Do NOT stay on the ground floor! I repeat, do not stay on the ground floor. You will regret it. On the night of October 25, the lobby was taken over by two wedding parties, and the noise was unbelievably loud. It was loud enough that even inside my room (Room 128), with the door closed that I could not sleep. I contacted the front desk at 10:30 p.m., assuming quiet hours began at 10:00 p.m., but I was told they didn’t start until 2:00 a.m. I questioned them, and they said quiet hours do not begin until 2am! I called again around 11:15 p.m. and even messaged through the Bonvoy app to register the complaint, but nothing was done and the noise continued

This hotel has good service, nice location, has gym, indoor swimming pool, bar, small restaurant, ample parking, nice breakfast, situated next to shopping plazas. I stayed here for five days. I will come back here again.
