Sleep Inn Chambersburg

Good location and the hotel was clean, but not quite right. No tissues. TV wasn't hooked up to the cable/network so couldn't watch anything. Breakfast was not monitored/replenished. Toilet shifted every time I sat on it. It seemed that the hotel was undergoing renovations/updates. Hopefully these issues will be addressed in that process.

Don’t know how this place got a 9.4 Excellent review on Booking.com Where to begin…. 1. They say dog friendly, yet no place to walk a dog, no grass, dog poop ALL over the parking lot-so gross 2. No tissues 3. Tub floor was slippery and had no grab bars-very dangerous 4. For a non smoking hotel, everything smelled like smoke 5. Breakfast was terrible, waffles, white bread, coffee, sugar cereals. 6. Whole place was dirty with plywood where they took out AC units

Room was clean and very nice. Full hot breakfast good. The lady that checked me in was quite pleasant and informative. She didn't mind answering any questions and gave me extra towels for my wife when I asked. Was nice to deal with a person who smiled and made you feel welcome. This is the third year in a row we stayed there and the best stay yet.

I would not recommend this hotel as it was not a friendly experience. I was confused about the no taking breakfast out of the breakfast area. Due to my mobility issues I usually don’t travel alone and when I do I grab what I can to bring back to my room as it takes me awhile to eat. I noticed the signs after and forced myself to sit in an area that I felt uncomfortable. On top of that the staff at this location need to have an etiquette class on servicing guests. I was never greeted. I was never addressed. None of the staff spoke when spoken to. It comes rude and disrespectful to not acknowledge people or assist when needed. I also requested a lower level room or close to elevator as possible as I am handicap and did not receive either option. There’s not parking that I noticed for handic

Almost didn't stay because of the past reviews, however, seeibg that they were from 2023 i took a chance and booked. Glad I did they obviously have done some updating. The room was spacious and clean. Close to a plethora of shops and eating places. Staff was kind. It was quiet. I didn't have breakfast only because there wasn't anything left. But i went down at 830 for breakfast was over at 9. Best part was the price. Would definitely recommend.
