SpringHill Suites by Marriott Boca Raton

The room was too small for 2 queen size beds. You could barely get around the bed to the closet. The shower tub combo was not good either, very slippery. The shower head was not adjustable and too hard and high for my wife. The staff was great and responsive to our requests. The location was convenient for us right by the intersection of I-95 and Yamato in Boca Raton.

It has decent prices, is in a quiet neighborhood, and the rooms are clean. I suggest this location and plan to return because... -good neighbor -accessible room is clean -the typical hotel hot continental breakfast was served -On December 20, I checked out with a cheerful female staff member at the front desk who was friendly and pleasant.

BEWARE THIS HOTEL IS NOT SAFE*** 0-Star Review – SpringHill Suites by Marriott Boca Raton, FL. This hotel is in unacceptable and potentially unsafe condition. There is a strong, persistent smell of smoke throughout the building. The air quality is so poor in certain hallways that your eyes literally burn while walking to your room. There are visible signs of moisture damage and what appears to be mold. Breathing inside this property feels unhealthy. The elevators break down repeatedly and feel unsafe when they are operating. During our stay, they were unreliable and clearly not properly maintained. Fire alarms went off. Hallways were loud, chaotic, and uncontrolled. Cleanliness is a major issue. The rooms are small, worn down, and poorly maintained. This isn’t “dated.” It’s neglected.

We had an excellent stay. ||We chose to stay in Boca Raton because the Ft. Lauderdale hotel scene is weird. ||We were warmly welcomed. Our room was clean and spacious. ||We did not use the exercise room or pool, but both were clean and updated. ||Breakfast was your standard hot hotel continental. The breakfast staff were wonderful and an absolute highlight! ||These rooms have been updated. We had a wonderful walk in shower. The water pressure was excellent. ||Updates to the elevators are supposed to be coming soon and are very needed. ||Only downsides: Pepsi products (though no Dr Pepper) and no in room lotion. ||Great stay.

Incredibly clean, recently updated rooms. Excellent breakfast that is constantly restocked. Front desk staff are polite, helpful and efficient. It is clear that this is a well managed property. This is a way, way, better choice than other nearby similarly rated and priced hotels. The only negative is the proximity to busy train tracks, especially for the rooms that are on the south eastern side of the building.
