There's no place like home, however, this comes close. I say this because the staff was always willing to make every allowance, every and any accommodation for a guest's comfort and that went a long way for me. I was glad they had food and a hot brakfast /brunch every morning and I felt exceptionally safe. I was in town for a relatives funeral and after flying nearly all day, I was tired; my dog was tired and the last thing I needed was complications. There were none, thankfully. I only needed to check in and that was it! I had food and groceries delivered and, went to the services the next morning without feeling frustrated. The amenities inside the room were top notch. After a four-hour drive from North Louisiana, all I wanted was a clean bed and a peaceful night. Instead, I got a crash course in Marriott’s Unwelcome Wildlife Program.||||Shoutout to Ms. V and Ms. K at the front desk—professional, warm, and friendly. Unfortunately, they became my tour guides in a 5-room "Bugs & Body Hair" scavenger hunt.||||Room 1: Bug crawling on the bed. I guess I interrupted its evening stroll.||Room 2: Hair under the sheets. Whoever slept there last clearly left a little souvenir.||Room 3: Mosquitos in the air, dead bug on the bed—because nothing says "sweet dreams" like insect corpses.||Room 4: More dirt, more disappointment.||Room 5: Finally clean… or at least clean enough after Ms. K personally inspected it.||||Requested to speak with the manager three times—still

Me and my family drove from Baltimore on 12/18 to Baton Rouge to attend my daughter’s graduation at Southern University on 12/19 @ 10:00 am. Throughout our travels we were in constant communication with the hotel pertaining to our arrival. When we arrived on the morning of 12/19 @ 7:30 am. the staff London and Ty were very pro active, courteous and professional. They had our key ready, extra towels and washcloths for our party of 7 already waiting for us. I love this location because it is literally 5 minutes from the campus. Without these young ladies due diligence and pure professionalism I highly doubt our stay would have been as perfect! Thank you guys again for everything!!!😍😍😍🙏🏽

Close to the place I came here for. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean. If I had one suggestion it would be to vacuum the hallways and have alarm clocks in the room. Oh and probably time to change the mattresses.
