Sports Unlimited Campground

This campground offers quite a bit for kids/adults to do & is located in a great area! You are packed in there like sardines, especially if you are not in a permanent spot... plus you're right by the train tracks & it sounds like the train is coming through your camper - multiple times an hour. It is very pricey, considering the amount of space you don't have.

I can't rate the rooms because we used our own camper. My family and I have stayed at the campground twice and both times we great. We didnt use the pool but it was busy with other campers. The mini golf was fun and the proximity to the Mississippi River can't be beat...it's across the road!

between the tree.W hen we arrived and received our site number we drove to the site. The sites are VERY tight! It was between two trees with a 5 X 5 ft concerte block encroahing between the trees. Just behind that site was an open site. We called to change what they assigned us, and for an upcharge, yes it was available, $20 fee on top of the $50 we had already paid. I smelled a rat. I think it was quiteci coincidence. Also were was about 100 ft from an active railroad track 4-5 trains per hour all night long! Loud music and party campsite. FYI

We had 3 campsites reserved for 4 nights. Granted, the Mississippi was flooding. Our reservations should have been canceled by the campground. Our site was so wet we couldn't sit or be by it at all. The weekender sites r in dire need of work. The seasonal sites are beautiful but very tight. Train didn't bother us at all and the Barn restaurant was fantastic. Pool was nice also. Need to fix and spend some $$ on the weekender sites.

Had a nice weekend getaway with friends. Sites had full hookup. Bathhouse was REALLY nice, hot water and clean. Yes, there is a train and it is clearly visible on the map when picking your site. The kids thought it was cool. Bring ear plugs. Plenty of room to keep a boat there for the weekend and the launch was right across the road, very handy. The sites are all gravel without any grass which was not great but I understand the reasoning behind it. We had a camping rug thing so we survived. Seasonal sites have grass but no one is pulling heavy campers in and out of those every couple of days. Dog friendly. Nice pool, playground, and volleyball/basketball courts. We didn't have a problem with loud people. Everyone respected the quiet time. We will be visiting again!
