Prairie Voyager Motel

The room was amazing! The jacuzzi tub didn't work at that moment but that was fine. It was so clean, the front lady was super nice,bed was amazing. This will definitely be our spot from now on when we come to town as long as we can get a room there. Highly recommend!!

Came to town from up north for a few days to work on a house for a friend. Needed a basic room. ||Let's start with the manager. Brian is awesome. Not much more I can say. Straight shooter, intelligent, friendly, and professional.||Then we have the assistant manager im appointing as Bella. What a sweet little dog. Was an awesome welcome coming in.||My room. It was exactly what I needed. It was clean. That's the key word. Clean. I have done alot of traveling and stayed in a ton of ma an pop inns. Voyager was my favorite so far. It's simple folks. Room was simple tidy and perfect for me. I read some complained about the trains., yes there are trains. First one startled me after than I never noticed. Cleanest motel ever. Updated. Very inexpensive. Very accommodating staff! Don’t worry too much about the trains if you sleep normal hours, they don’t seem to run between 10 PM and 6 AM. The only thing keeping me from giving four stars is how hard the mattress was.

Newly renovated with many nice touches such as 2 complimentary bottles of water in the fridge, towels, soap, shampoo (not all motels provide these basics in 2025), guide around town, but by far the best personal touch was my request for a microwave in the room was fulfilled by the off duty housekeeper stopping by to bring the microwave!!! A+++ service from good honest hardworking Americans!!! Highly recommend!!!

We stayed here on a Thursday in summer and found it to be very nice, especially for the price. Sure, you hear the trains, but they are not allowed to blow their horns after 10pm by local ordinance. Our room was very clean. You can tell when the owners take care of their motel and update it. I recommend this little gem to all. I'll be staying here again. Great value and friendly people.
