Quality Inn & Suites Prairie Du Chien

There were pros and cons to this place. Pros - Everyone working there were so friendly and nice! Room was nice size, clean, and decor was nice also. Loved TV stand made out of an old treadle sewing machine base. Great bathroom - 1st time in accessible room and finally able to get on and off a hotel toilet without pain. Slept wonderful on very comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Cons - room had an odd smell like old feet or something. Breakfast was poor. Waffle batter breaking down and not enough batter for 2nds. Sausage were dry. Creamer curdled so couldn't have my coffee. Was less than impressed with food. But staff apologized over and over for this and is not their fault really. Management needs to watch this closer especially during slower season.

Room was nice, comfy bed, good pillows, great shower, pool really was warm. Guy behind the desk was just okay. He was very direct about no smoking, vaping and ?? So I was just as direct about my Mother died from inoperable lung cancer AND I do NOT appreciate being talked to that way! Then he saw me go to the pool. There were NO towels. I had to come back to the desk and ask for towels. He NEVER bothered to put towels in the pool area while I was swimming. Poor customer service on his part! He did enjoy playing on his cell phone though!!!

Great service, well maintained rooms, super selection of television channels, a feeling my comfort and satisfaction mattered! All of this was topped off by a great breakfast and pleasant chat with your employee at the reception area. Even your prices at the vending machines were moderate in comparison to other places where I've stayed. Thanks for a pleasant stay which helped me deal with the rigors of finding a new residence far from my existing home.!

In the bathroom there is pee all down the toilet, there are stains on the couch and some stuff on the wall. Also some stuff on the desk and air conditioner. Wasn't really clean. The staff is fantastic and the amenities are good though, but rooms need to be cleaned more.

The front desk mother and daughter duos were very nice! We got to a room that had a mini fridge not working and had some mold starting to form. So I brought it to their attention in a respectful way because how are they supposed to know if nobody tells them. With that they got us a different room with a jacuzzi tub and complementary wine. Thank you
