Split Rock Lodge

We loved the location, splendid views and nicely renovated rooms at the lodge. We stayed in a room that has a room to room door to convert it to duplex. And, sadly, one can hear everything that's going on in the adjacent room. It was very intense. Even at 1am our neighbors were way to loud. Another sad thing is the locked windows in the room. Such a loss. The weather was splendid, the air outside was fresh and nice. I hope the management will find to fix the windows.

Well, Split Rock, what can I say, what a wonderful place to be, whether it's vacation, just passing through, honeymoon etc. You definitely need a car, and there are other things that you can do, plenty of amenities. You have a beach on site and a pool. Basketball court, mini golf, and plenty of other things to do. I have been there several times, i love it, and it is such an awesome place to be. There's so much to say about it.But all the stars speak for itself, and if I could give ten stars, I would. Enjoy your stay. Cheers mate 😊

Was a nice getaway. However, it's an old hotel resort thing. Nobody was working there we literally had entire place to ourselves. Rooms were clean and decent. Beautiful view of lake. Pool, hot tub, outside bar, restaurant , lagoon for swimming but was apparently contaminated the weekend we were there. We also never got a room key. That was frustrating, annoying. But, would go back.

Thanks to reading prior reviews I avoided a few of the mistakes, like having to check in at town center as opposed to the lodge itself. Granite, my family and I stayed in April and this may very well be why: the place felt abandoned. Clearly we didn’t go during peak season. No restaurants were open on the resort except the rock bar. Waterpark was closed. Lake activities were closed. The lodge indoor pool felt alone and empty, hot tub not turned on. We did however like the town center pool. Kids had fun there! Our room at the lodge was clean, and comfortable and the view was fantastic! I feel like if we visited during the summer we would have had a much better experience, but that’s not the fault of the resort I don’t believe. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Came here to check out the tiki bar area. We sat at the bar area. We were hungry so me and my son got the chicken fingers with fries ($15) really good chicken and the fries weren’t that great the potato was not cooked all the way through. The drinks were $15 for a little cup not worth it in my opinion. My sister got the beef nachos they were disgusting.
