Spirit Lake Retreat

Spirit Lake Retreat! What a great experience! Sweet little cabins located close to the tunnel of trees and the famous Legs Inn restaurant! We really enjoyed our stay here! It was absolutely perfect! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great stay, this would be your place! Thank you to Dan for making our reservations easy and simple! Thanks again! We will be back!

This little cozy cabin away from home gave us the perfect getaway. The yard and fire pits were well maintained. Wood and chairs are all provided. The cabin is very clean and modern. It has nice space and everything needed for the trip.

The suite is a pictured. Clean, comfortable, and had all amenities needed. The location was perfect for quiet evenings yet just a short drive to many wonderful places surrounding the area (Tunnel of trees, Mackinac Island, Harbor Springs, Pond Hill Farms -just to name a few). Walk to Legs Inn, Three Pines Art studio, Village Mart, and a private beach! The locals in the area were so friendly and made you feel at home. Thank you, Daniel, for being a wonderful host!

Our multi-generational family, ages 8 months to 79 years rented all 10 units at Spirit Lake Retreat to celebrate our parent’s 60th wedding anniversary! We spent an entire weekend making memories and just spending good quality time together! Daniel was excellent to work with and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. The common space was large and accommodated our families beautifully. We had corn hole, badminton, tossing the football all going on while still having plenty of room for the little ones to play! We walked to the beach, had ice cream from the store and visited the local farm down the road. Something for everyone. I can’t recommend this place enough for a large group gathering. We had an amazing stay at Spirit Lake! The location is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature but a short walk to the beach, shops and food! The cottage was spotless fully stocked with essentials. The outdoor area was spacious and perfect for playing yard games or using one of the fire pits to roast the s’more kit left in your room! Pond Hill Farm was a fantastic day trip with activities for the kids and great wine for the adults. The host made everything easy with clear communication throughout the process. If you're looking for the perfect up north Michigan weekend, this is it! We can't wait to come back!
