What a great family friendly Ski Resort! We had so much fun there! The big value for us was that the inexperienced area (purple lift and the space worm) was free, I have 4 kids (12, 11, 7, 4) that really enjoyed it and my wife did too, as a more experienced snowboarder it was such a blast for me to be able to ski over and check their progress and help then hit some really fun and challenging runs. Atmosphere was relaxed and the staff was very friendly from the lift operators to the kitchen and ski patrol! Great place to go and totally worth the drive (4 hours)

I had the time of my life!!! As a first time skier (I’m Brazilian), I could get a class before trying for myself with Ricky, and it was awesome! I was able to do the worm tunnel, the chair lift, we skied the beginners slope a few times and I did not fell once!!! Very patient and kind. Skied the rest of the entire day in beginner and some intermediate slopes with the help of my mother in law. It was awesome. Best time of my life.

Hands down, the FRIENDLIEST STAFF in Michigan. From the lift operators to operations, everyone had a smile, said hello, and took the time to talk to the kids. They genuinely asked young skiers if they were having fun, which really helps take the edge off for first-timers. Exactly the kind of people you want your kids around when they’re learning to ski. In my opinion, this is the best family ski spot in Michigan. I was there this weekend with my 8-year-old son in his first year skiing. The variety of runs was perfect for him and still kept things interesting for me. The only terrain he didn’t ski were the black diamonds. Lift ticket prices are reasonable, and even better for kids since he skied free with my ticket. The cafeteria was solid and priced fairly. Overall, it’s a great place fo

We’ve been coming to Nubs Nob for years and I am always impressed by the location, drop-off/pick-up setup, super friendly and professional staff, and the ski hill itself. The ski hill has a great variety of beginner to expert level ski runs which are beautifully groomed. Additionally, the hill is easy to navigate and is family friendly. If there happens to be a lift line, it is always short, even during peak times. The cafeteria has a great selection of tasty and reasonably priced food and the service is always fast and friendly. This is my go-to ski resort for skiing in Michigan’s mitten.

The runs are the best I’ve skied in Michigan. Well earned reputation for the best grooming.
