Otis Harbor Springs

We came for dinner on a Saturday night for a date night in March and really enjoyed ourselves!! I can't speak for the rooms but the restaurant is wonderful! My husband has been coming to the area behind the motel for decades and remembers what existed before, he was so excited about the update and remodel that it was all he talked about. The owner has made thoughtful design choices and the seasonal menu options were great! Really well curated wine menu with some unique bottle options. The entire staff seemed really excited about working there. Also the whole place smells amazing. Basically, can't say enough good things!

To start with the positives, it was an absolute bargain, friendly staff, albeit a bit busy, it's a beautiful balance between chic and rustic. It seems to be striving for more of an upscale feel, which fits the demographic of the people we saw staying there. Everyone was very happy, healthy, & well dressed. The cocktail bar has some very stiff drinks and very attentive staff. It's a very inviting classic jazz lounge sorta feel. The coffee bar had delicious pastries & barista-style coffee. The bathrooms were obviously remodeled, they have campground-style showers but it was done well and is very usable and clean! The air conditioners were indeed loud but at least they work and thats more than I can say about some other places I've lodged. Our room had a TV, noise wasn't bad at all. Bed's,

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Everyone was so nice, the food was to die for (especially the prawns), and the drinks were delicious. The birch room is super cozy, with a plush bed that’s hard to get out of. The biggest perk of all is the flamingo estate products in the bathroom! Would absolutely stay again or even swing by for dinner!

Staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming! We stayed here for a ski weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation. Rooms felt cozy and had everything we needed, and the bar/lounge was a perfect spot for an after ski cocktail. Old fashioned was 10/10.

Beautiful location, art, and atmosphere. Woke up with dense fog and deer outside the window every day, the the sun busting out midday. Ope then THE STARS at night. The food though!!!! So. Good. And every single person that works at Otis is incredible. Off the top of my head, Ash, Sam, Abigail, Helen, and Shannon, were so welcoming and great to be around in general. I will be coming back!
