Spirit Lake Lodge

Absolutely amazing stay, in an amazing room, with an amazing view of the sunrise over Mt. Craig, and hosted by amazing people! Michael and Lauren were very courteous and are two of the friendliest people you'll meet! They made my wife and I super comfortable and gave us lots of great info as we are preparing to move permanently to Grand Lake. Right on the main road of Grand Lake, it is just a few minute walk to any restaurant, shop, and beach. The room was cozy, perfectly outfitted, and was topped off with a thermostat controlled gas fireplace! We highly recommend this lodge. Can't wait to come back and stay again!

We enjoyed the quaint lodge and the excellent location to the lake, restaurants and shopping.The room was clean and cozy and the staff was very helpful, which goes a long way in my book. We stayed in a lower unit and due to the structure, there was a bit of noise from the room above, but it was tolerable. The mattresses are a little dated, but still comfortable. Michael, who manages the property, was very accommodating. The landscaping and numerous flower pots were a nice touch. We sat on the bench out front several nights and enjoyed the mountain air and quiet view. We also enjoyed the enclosed hot tub one night.

We had a great experience here this weekend. We brought our 2 dogs and they were pretty anxious and barked at everything since it was their first getaway somewhere new, so I felt bad about that, but the staff were really nice about it. Our queen suite was cozy with the fireplace and decor, and just enough room for my husband, myself, and the 2 dogs without it feeling crowded. The location is perfect and everything we needed was in walking distance. If you need a place to stay in Grand Lake with your fur babies, I highly recommend this place.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Spirit Lake Lodge for one night this past Saturday. We drove up from Denver to enjoy an overnight in Grand Lake. Our room was clean, roomy and a great location right on main street. We could walk wherever we wanted to in minutes, including down to the lake. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. We would recommend staying at Spirit Lake Lodge - as we certainly will again.
