Daven Haven Event Venue/Cabins/ and BackStreet Pub

I stayed at the Wildwood cabin cluster a short distance from the main cabins at Daven Haven, which is also run by the same owners. On arrival, it was clear the cabin had not been cleaned before our stay. There were layers of dust on the furniture and urine dried onto the toilet. Hair on the bathroom floor and shower drain. An overpowering, musty smell, despite windows being left open before our arrival. Stains on the bedspread. When I complained the next day to the front desk at Daven Haven, I was told, without an apology, "It should have been cleaned." I said I agreed, and asked if, since I had to clean it myself, I would be receiving a refund of some of the money I paid for a clean, comfortable stay. Absolutely recommend! We had our wedding weekend at the Daven Haven and it was perfect! After our ceremony at Point Park, we all walked the 6-minute walk back to the pergola-covered patio for the beautiful outdoor reception. The lighting was just gorgeous for an evening, outdoor wedding, lit with candles and gas fire pits. Our friends and family stayed in the cabins, so we were able to spend much more time with our guests. We even had a burrito-bar brunch the next morning which our guests loved! Planning a wedding during the pandemic was hectic, but Carey and her team were incredibly accommodating. I had a wonderful visit with Daven haven. Not as responsive with the phones as I would have hoped, but we were able to communicate with them at least once during our time there. The cabin had everything we needed and more. It is located at one entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and it had incredible views and wildlife!

My family and I booked the cabins at the Daven Haven. The ones by point park. But when we checked in the cabins were at the end of the main strip. That’s not what we asked for. They were doing road construction so it wasn’t quite. We stayed in the Big Pine. We enjoyed the court yard in front of the cabin. It allowed the family to play yard games. One of the bedrooms the floor was sloped horribly!! So bad that I woke up and the mattress had about a foot off the box springs. While we were up for the week the weather turned cold. The heat was out. They did come about 1-2 to fix the heat for us. The bathroom floor has titles broke and the grout is coming up.
