Lone Eagle Lodge

Rooms were clean. Nothing to write home about. When we arrived, our room was 57 degrees. Burr! It did finally warm up to a comfortable temp. If you just want a place to sleep with a shower. This will do.

Initially, I wasn't sure what I thought when I first pulled up. It looked rather rustic but once I went into the room I was pleasantly surprised. It was a little small but fine for our family of 4. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. I was quite concerned when I found out that there was no air conditioning because it was exceptionally hot but was happy to find that they already had 2 fans in our room and when we mentioned that we were still hot they brought in a portable air conditioning and we were quite comfortable. All of the staff were very friendly and responsive. Communication from the hotel was timely. Absolutely loved the location - we could walk to everything in town. We had a wonderful stay at Lone Eagle Lodge this summer! Incredibly clean, spacious room. Nice warm water, great service at the front desk. Super close to everything you want to get to on the main strip. We were able to book through our Chase portal and use credit card points too, which was awesome. Loved our stay and will definitely be back next summer!

My family stayed for only one night but we enjoyed our stay. Staff was warm and welcoming and responsive to our needs. Also, you can't beat the location since you can walk to everything in town and are so close to the park. The night we stayed was incredibly hot and were disappointed that there was no air conditioning. However, we were happy to find 2 portable fans in the room and they offered to bring us a portable air conditioner which was perfect. The rooms are small but clean and very comfortable. Beds were awesome! Also, highly recommend the food truck in the parking lot.

The room was beautiful and well kept. We stayed in Room 11, a two bedroom. The location is great, 5 minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The problems, the hotel is advertised as air conditioned. This room was not, I can't speak for the rest of the facility. The first night was fine but the second night we could not sleep because of the temperature. We tried opening the window, but it was smokey outside. The room had an air freshener that wasn't compatible with our allergies. The bed frame was exposed, which caused several stubbed toes. The shower head needs to be replaced, it sprays water everywhere. For people with disabilities most rooms have a step up to get in.
