My husband and I was at a Trade show 02/22/2026. We were approached by a salesman for Spinnaker Resorts. He ask if we would be interested in a vacation. At first we were both hesitant,but he had a opening for May 4th - 8. We thought that would be great since we had already planned to a Daytona Trip for a concert. We went ahead and gave out credit card. Big mistake. I found out after Spinnaker Resorts contacted me to schedule that them dates were not an option. It was a black out. Now the salesman did tell us about the black out, however he said it was the dates of the Daytona 500. We never seen the back of the contract until after we signed. They lied and we feel for it. We visited Southwind for Thanksgiving week of 2023. The check-in building is the main Spinnaker building which is 2 miles away from the actually rental unit. The people at the front desk were incredibly nice and helpful with telling us how to navigate to our resort.||Southwind is located in a large area called Shipyard. It is a gated area that you will have a parking pass to get into and if you ride bikes, there is a daily code that you use at the gate to get through. There is a golf course that is beautiful and tons of biking/walking paths.||When we arrived at our unit, there was ample parking. You have 1 assigned space and/or you can park in unmarked spaces. BRANSON. MO. Don't know why this says Hilton Head. Went to breakfast in Branson Missouri, and was approached by somebody at a desk at the restaurant, that said they had tickets for shows in the Branson area for half price. This person said we had to go for a 90-minute presentation on a resort that we may want to buy into. So we went to Spinnakers Resort the next day, and they gave the presentation. Now we're not stupid, we know that they're probably going to try to pressure you into buying, but we weren't going to buy, and we already knew that, so we told them up front. Their presentation was not good. They kept telling us what other timeshares were doing wrong, but they never told us what they were doing right. After the presentation, came the high pressure sales tactics. We kept sticking

If I could give zero stars I would. Our family has owned a timeshare on Hilton Head for nearly 30 years. Every year the dues increased but that isn’t the issue. Just 2 weeks ago we were given 1 month notice that we would have to pay a special assessment of 7,000…… yes , 7K to keep it. It isn’t even worth that. They have mismanaged dues for years and poorly maintained their properties. I can rent a VRBO for the same fee as the yearly dues. I will never do business with this company again.

They provide no towels or service. You are expected to wash the one set they give you everyday. Terrible service and not worth the money we spent on this timeshare. Spinnaker provides few locations and no value and no service. My Wyndam timeshare I do not have these issues with. However, they don’t tell you anything in your contract when they sell you but tell you about stuff that they claim is in your contract when they want to do nothing for you. I would highly recommend you NOT buy here.
