Ocean View at Island Club

While the room and resort is nice, the amenities close early. Fitness and sauna is only open from 8-5 when the pro shop is open. The pool closes at dusk. Pools and hot tubs normally close at 10. There's literally nothing to do after dark. We tried walking the property one evening.|| We were met with swarms of flying bugs. Huge colonies of mosquitoes and such. You are confined to your room and balcony in the evening unless you go off the resort. The staff were mot friendly on the phone as we inquired about wheelchair accessibility. The Welcome email before traveling was not friendly but it was helpful. Thankfully everyone we dealt with while at the resort was very nice. Larry (maintenance) and the gate works were very kind. Larry saw us looking lost and he gave us a lot of information about

Loved staying here. Beautiful grounds that are well maintained. The beach is clean and so close. Accommodations were perfect for what we needed. I took off one star because the maintenance crew ran backpack blowers in the early morning clearing leaves and debris. Absolutely zero reason to do this before 8am esp on a lazy weekend morning. They did this for all 3 days we stayed. We will come back as we really loved this property. But let's keep those blowers off until a little later in the morning.

This resort was so wonderful. We stayed one week with all the amenities right there. No need to go out of the resort to go to the beach either. They had an adult pool area, kiddie pool area, and a beautiful pool for everyone ! Great areas for grilling with outside games. All this and clean condos with updated appliances. The beds were very comfortable along with the living room furniture. We also enjoyed time out on our balcony. We will definitely return to this resort.

Got bed bug bites over a few days and left early. I didn't see any bugs and the maintenance man didn't either.

We had a two BR / two bath ( loft) which was really nice. There was just two of us, but if you had kids it would be great because the second BR in the lift had two twin beds and its own full bath. The master BR has a queen size bed. Our unit was in the Oceanview building, so while that building IS NOT directly on the water (as the other three buildings are), however, we have the exact same direct beach access as the beach front buildings. The overall property is great - had grills, tennis/pickleball courts & club, and nice outdoor pool & hot tub. The unit was very clean and had a full kitchen, dining table, living room, etc. We were staying there as members of Capital Vacations using points, and we thoroughly enjoyed our full week stay. The onsite management team (including maintenan
