Marriott’s SurfWatch Ocean Dunes

So far this has been the best Marriott property to stay at, although not directly on ocean, it's worth the walk to get there. Great activities too, especially for adults!

Ocean front view! Watched the sunrise. Quiet. Walked the beach. Not crowded. Even saw Santa biking on the beach!

Lovely beach-side property with lots of activities throughout the day, like complimentary smores at night around huge firepits, or meals, desserts, and games - some for a small room fee. Three pools, one of which is indoor, great activities staff for yoga & pilates, and easy beach access across the dunes. I like the beach bar near the beach-side pool, it's honestly good food and drinks, and this section of the beach is lovely. The units are spacious and clean, though the beds are a lot too hard for me - I tend to have a lot of back pain staying here. But the furniture is nice and everything works and when it doesn't, maintenance and housekeeping are quick to respond. It's great having a full kitchen and dishwasher and we were in the building that faces the ocean, with a fabulous view.

Nice resort, not pricey, well maintained, lots of activities for kids and adults. Indoor pool(heated) and hot tubs. Only negative, restaurant closes at 6:30 pm. So no bar after that time

We love Surfwatch. We go annually. Great place for families. Rent bikes and beach equipment. Heated pool. Indoor pool. Staff is great. Activities are good. Currently fire pits were not working. Coldest week of the year. That was disappointing.
